I’ve stopped by all but a handful of these Route 66 eateries and find the variety and regional flavor is exceptional. My favorite is the café where I am eating at the moment! Every stop offers it’s own 66 experience. Enjoy. Each place for what it is. And remember the road is constantly changing, these places may have new owners, be closed for the day, or even have a For Sale sign out front. Route 66 travelers are flexible, appreciative, and understanding! And remember that no traveler can locate every good stop along the Route 66 corridor so let me know about the treasures you find.
